What is included
- a reusable test-case register
- expected-output and required-field templates
- normal, edge, duplicate, conflict and failure cases
- a correction and decision record
- an acceptance-summary worksheet
The files use fictional examples so you can inspect formulas, fields and expected results without exposing customer or financial data.
How to use the pack
- Choose one document family and collect representative, permitted samples.
- Define the expected fields and which are required.
- Add normal, low-quality, incomplete, duplicate and conflicting cases.
- Run the workflow and record actual output without overwriting the expected result.
- Review failures, assign corrections and approve release only when the acceptance rule is met.
Worked example
A test invoice has a legible total but no invoice number. Expected output keeps the number blank, routes the item to review and blocks the destination write. A fabricated number is a failed test even when every other field is correct.
The useful evidence is the comparison between expected and actual behavior. Record corrections and rerun the same case after a change so the team can see whether the fix worked.
What to verify before launch
- The source file remains available beside any extracted or summarized values.
- Missing information stays missing until a person supplies or confirms it.
- Duplicate and retry rules prevent a second destination record.
- A named person owns exceptions and approval decisions.
- Failed runs remain visible and can be replayed safely.
- Access, retention and deletion rules match your organization’s requirements.
Limits
The pack does not provide a universal accuracy benchmark. Results apply only to the representative files, workflow version and acceptance rules you test. Keep sensitive documents out of shared test environments unless access is approved.
