Frequently asked questions

How does the automation ROI calculation work?

Annual hours equal people multiplied by minutes per occurrence divided by 60, multiplied by occurrences per week, multiplied by 48 working weeks. Annual labour cost is those hours multiplied by your loaded hourly cost. Recoverable capacity applies the repetitive share of the work and a recovery range you can adjust, defaulted to 35 to 65 percent.

Why 48 working weeks instead of 52?

Forty-eight weeks allows for vacation and statutory holidays, so the estimate stays conservative rather than assuming a full calendar year of production time.

What does the readiness score measure?

It weights six factors: repetition and volume, rule clarity, data availability, exception fit, human-control design, and measurability. Scores under 40 mean fix or document the process first, 40 to 64 means investigate, 65 to 79 is a good candidate, and 80 or above is a strong candidate.

Are these numbers guaranteed savings?

No. They are directional planning estimates based on the inputs and recovery range you provide. They are not a performance claim or a guarantee of results.

Do I need to give my email to use it?

No. The tool requires no sign-up and no email address, and the calculation happens entirely in your browser.
