OpenClaw for business
Choose one recurring business task for OpenClaw: 40 reviewed starter skills, sample tests and downloadable kits for 14 business types.
Give a recurring queue a clear owner
A missing document, unanswered supplier or changed date can sit between systems while everyone assumes someone else has it. Start with one queue and ask OpenClaw to prepare the evidence for the person who decides what happens next.
OpenClaw runs a Gateway on a machine or server you control. It can use configured models, chat channels, skills and scheduled jobs. The official quickstart covers installation and model access. Keeping the Gateway on your own host does not keep model requests, messages or integrations on that host.
This collection contains 40 task guides across 14 business types. Each has defined inputs, a draft output, a reviewer and a synthetic acceptance case. Business ZIP kits include workspace instructions, a read-only configuration example, inert schedule proposals and edited starter skills. These are Flowgrammer designs, not tested vendor integrations.

Build the first useful result
Use an approved export or synthetic file first. Preserve its record ID, date and source line in the result. Ask the reviewer to compare the draft against the original, including a missing-field case. A skill that reads a CSV does not establish a live connection to the software that produced it.
The kits deliberately start with reading and drafting. Their configuration examples restrict tool access, while AGENTS.md and SKILL.md explain the task. Instructions alone are not a security boundary. The tool permissions guide describes independent controls for files, execution, messages and agents.
Choose hosting and data access deliberately
Name the team responsible for the host, updates, backups and failure notifications. Document where the model, messaging service and any adapter process data. Review those providers and the organization’s requirements before using client, employee or patient records. Self-hosting alone does not establish Canadian data residency or legal compliance.
The supplied research lists community skills and possible industry connections. Listing existence is not a code review or an integration test. The downloadable kits include our edited instructions, not third-party executable packages. Confirm provenance and permissions before installing additional software.
Schedule only after the sample works
A schedule needs an agent, task, authorized inputs, time zone and review destination. The kit’s JSON proposals do not create jobs. Configure them through the current OpenClaw interface and inspect the saved settings. Keep notifications tied to actionable changes, define a review/end date and test how to disable the job. An unattended digest is not an emergency response service.
Compare the work, then plan the build
Use n8n for mapped application-to-application flows. Use Dots briefs for another ongoing task preparation approach. OpenClaw is useful when your team wants to operate the host, tools and workspace instructions. That adds operational responsibility; this is not a lowest-cost claim.

Frequently asked questions
Does a starter skill connect my business software?
No. These skills work from selected files or approved exports. A live API or MCP connection needs a separately reviewed adapter, authorized account and tool scope.
Do the downloads run scheduled jobs automatically?
No. Schedule proposals are inert JSON records. An operator must configure and test a job, its agent, time zone, destination and notification conditions before enabling it.
Is the starter kit a tested production deployment?
No. It is a reviewed starting point with sample tests. It has not been run against authenticated business accounts or validated by a live OpenClaw Gateway.
Can Flowgrammer implement this for my team?
Bring one recurring task, a redacted record and the person who reviews the result. We will check access, deployment and the first acceptance test before recommending a build.
